What's Included

We have two outpost cabins at Papaonga Lake Outpost. They are located about 50 yards from one another, with the washhouse that houses the flush toilets and heated shower being between the two cabins. Each cabin is completely outfitted with a full kitchen, all utensils, dishes, gas refrigerator, gas lights, gas stove, wood heat, and separate bedrooms. The cabins have running water and a large double bowl sink. The towels for the kitchen and bath are supplied. Also provided are sleeping bags, pillows and sheets for the beds.

A screened-in fish house located lakeside, make it easy to prepare the day’s catch for dinner. Also supplied is a propane deep fryer, and Weber BBQ (charcoal not supplied). Papaonga Lake Outpost has provided you with 14 ft Lund boats, with flat carpeted floors, and pedestal seat. These boats feature side storage lockers and plenty of room to stand up and walk around (no benches to get in the way).These awesome boats are powered by 2005 Yamaha 15 hp. outboards. All the gas is provided for you. The boats are equipped with landing nets, life vests, and minnow buckets. The outpost itself is located on a sand beach, with plenty of space for boats and protected from the wind.
For your peace of mind, we have a satellite phone at the outpost for 24 hour, any weather, emergency communications.

There is another cabin located on the lake, but our guests find that with such a vast array of spots to fish, they never have any trouble finding their own favorite fishing hole.
